These seashell cupcakes were made for my friend, Kenyon's wedding rehearsal dinner. She had a "beach" theme and seashells were a part of her wedding ceremony.
I started by making the seashells with a candy mold and melted chocolate wafers. I used both white and milk chocolate and using a toothpick, swirled the chocolates together in the mold to make the marbled effect. I covered the cupcakes in white frosting and rolled the tops in crushed graham crackers for the sandy look. I attached the seashells with a dab of frosting so they would stick. I was very happy with the result!
